PRODUCTS
Hitachi America, Ltd., Home Electronics Division features a wide range of products including projection and high definition-ready and high definition digital televisions, direct-view televisions, DVD players, VCRs and camcorders.
PROJECTION TVs
Featuring the exclusive Super Bright Lens System, which employs six lenses instead of the standard four, Hitachi offers the ultimate in projection TV picture quality. Among the models in this category are UltraVision HDX and SDX digital projection TVs, the high-end UltraVision UX and SBX series and the affordable CX and GX series. The SDX models in this category offer the option to upgrade to true high definition with the addition of a set-top digital decoder box, while Hitachi’s HDX model is the complete fully integrated set with a built-in 8VSB digital decoder.
Additionally, Hitachi has introduced its new 52-inch, rear LCD projection TV which features a 1.6-inch LCD panel that displays 1.44 million pixels onto a 52-inch screen and projects images more than four times as bright as a typical 36-inch direct view TV. Enhanced images are also attributed to the LCD’s Progressive Scan Display Technology that shows bright, clear pictures unmarred by flicker or other ‘artifacts’ common to conventional TVs.
DIRECT VIEW TVs
Boasting leading-edge audio and visual technology, a range of screen sizes and competitive prices, Hitachi direct-view TVs provide a quality home-viewing experience. The direct-view line up of products includes the UX, FX, CX and UltraVision digital and PC and high definition-ready MMV and SDX series.
DVD PLAYER
Hitachi also recently introduced its new DVD player provides the ultimate home entertainment experience by providing true to life picture and audio performance. The unit provides the latest and most innovative DVD features including a built-in Dolby Digital AC-3 decoder, DTS digital sound output, multiple playback modes, fast-access disc navigation system, digital zoom and still picture frame advance.
CAMCORDERS
Hitachi also offers a complete line of innovative and high quality Hi8, 8mm and VHS camcorders with a wide range of price and feature options
VCRs
